Bruce Banner's dark side by Jojo66punt0
Avengers Continued- BrucexReader-White Noise Three"You're late." Dr. Banner bolted out of the cafe after you left, caught a cab and still was an hour late to the meeting. Natasha raised an eyebrow in question as he stumbled in. He shrugged nervously as he sat down, "I-I'm sorry... traffic was..." "Yep. Save it. We'll take it out of your pay." Tony remarked, as Dr. Banner drew a breath and settled in. "We don't get paid," jeered Clint from the back of the table. "Hmm... FRIDAY remind me to create an Avengers salary so I can take it away. Starting with Barton. It's not like arrows are that valuable," Clint flipped him off as Natasha continued over the antics, "The target is..." It had been decided that Bruce was better staying put- they didn't need a Code Green for this mission, which was fine by him. It gave him more time to work on containment. He ran the latest simulations on the metal clamps, keeping his eyes firmly fixed on the monitor as he heard the wheels of an office chair, and Tony Stark entered into his peripheral vision. "How's it coming?" He sighed, relieved to avoid an interrogation. "Promising. The last render suggests a 67% chance of containment." Tony glanced at the screen, "Not bad..." He nodded, "almost 80% if he's-I'm- if the other guy is not already in motion." "Yeah, that seems to be most of the time...what's this about a neurotoxin?" Bruce felt his pulse threaten to elevate, quickly placing it back under control. "Oh t-that was just a suggestion from a colleague of mine from university-" "You brought another biochemist in on this?" Tony was rightfully surprised, Bruce tried to avoid any collaboration regarding the Hulk. "I bumped into her-" "Oh it's a her..." Bruce waved him off dismissively, turning his attention back to the screen. Again the sound of an office chair wheeled to his other side, along with the sound of a straw straining a long empty cup. He ignored it, keeping his eyes trained on the screen. The slurping grew louder, and Tony's face drew closer, he rolled his eyes and looked over. "What?" Tony grinned, "Is she cute?" Bruce chuckled nervously, avoiding the question as he ran another simulation, "She's a professional..." "I would hope so...what's her name?" Bruce realized he didn't have your last name. "You know her from Oxford... she's not Harvard is she?" Tony pulled a face, "She's just a friend I know in the field," "Oh a friend..." Bruce wished the floor would open up as soon as the word exited his mouth, but he also agreed with it. He had fixed your computer... and you had bought him coffee. And hugged him. And helped with his research. The computer beeped its approval at your proposed neurotoxin formula, he couldn't help but smile. 89% odds of containment, 7% chance of long-term effects. "Those are good odds." Bruce nodded in agreement, "I'll start the render..." he said, getting up to head toward the lab, "Is she single?" Tony called as a parting shot.Clink. "Hi," Bruce knew you were here before you said a word. He was becoming familiar with your perfume, though if asked to describe it, he would have simply said, Something with flowers? It was light and not too sweet and he smiled at it and the sound of your voice as you sat down, "How'd the adjustments go?" You asked, starting on your coffee cake. Is this going to become normal? asked a part of his brain as you opened your laptop. "Calculations look promising..." "Did you go with the derivative of scorpion venom?" "The problem is the dose, if my heart rate goes too low-" "it could reverse the transformation and you can't handle what he can." Bruce nodded as you worked your lip, painfully aware of how soft it looked. "Hmm. Paralysis would be best. Anything else will run through too quickly with the elevated heart rate..." Halfway through the conversation, and a second piece of coffee cake shared, he suddenly remembered to ask, "H-how are you?" "Good." you said brightly, "And your research?" He ventured, "Terrible." you laughed, shrugging. "Can't get a foot in the door. At least it gives me more time for revisions...and Chai." A small smile in his direction, he laughed nervously, rubbing at his arm. "So I-uh- I talked to Tony... a-a-about a synthetic composition with the same attributes." You raised your eyebrows, "You have that kind of tech?" Bruce nodded, "They tend to be willing to fund projects that might..." he coughed, "save them millions in damages and lawsuits, anyway-" This is nice. Collaborating with you wasn't difficult. You listened to his thoughts fully, but you were also quickly willing to reject anything that didn't make sense. VERONICA gained a greater scope in the hours that followed and he was starting to believe it just might work. "Are you hungry?" Your voice jolted Bruce from what he hadn't entirely realized was a musing. "Wha-" You nodded outside and he realized that it was getting dark. How long have we been talking? "I'm a little over coffee cake and I feel like we're only a little ways off from getting the details ironed out." You paused, continuing awkwardly, "That is- if you want my help-" "Oh-" Bruce shook his head immediately, "No, this is-" "-I wouldn't want to-" "I appreciate your help, " He finished, "A-and something other than coffee would be great." "Great," You nodded, closing your laptop as he stood and pulled open the door. "Do you like shawarma?" You tilted your head slightly, "Hmm. Never had it. Always meant to try it." He nodded down the sidewalk, "I know someplace just around the corner. It's always open."

Learning to Live Again, Tony Stark X Reader 1/?“Why don’t you come out to dinner with us? You need to get out a bit.” Clint leaned in the doorway of the living room. Tony was sitting on the couch flipping through channels absentmindedly, holding a rocks glass filled with whiskey.“I’m fine, thanks for the concern.” He didn’t look away from the screen. “Go enjoy a night out with the old lady.”“I’m telling her you called her old.” Clint laughed. “Tony, come on. Laura’s bringing a friend of hers and I’d appreciate another man there to even out the estrogen.” Tony finally glanced at the archer and raised a brow. He knew what was happening but if he kept saying ‘no’, Clint’s wife would come drag him out of the Avengers Tower.“One dinner.” He turned back to his programs, missing the glee in Clint’s eyes. “And you’re paying, I’m not made of money.”“Whatever you say. Just be ready at seven, moneybags.” Tony waved him off.He didn’t know why everyone was so involved with his love life. So what Pepper dumped him when he needed her most, he’d get over it. He was a war prisoner for christ's sake, a woman leaving him was nothing. Once he was sure Clint had gone for good, he downed his drink and got up to put the glass away. Might as well get ready to avoid Laura’s wrath if he showed up less than presentable. Tony sent Clint a quick text about the dress code and was relieved that it was casual. He showered and trimmed his beard before slipping on some jeans and a tee, The Doors were casual enough. He fussed with his hair but didn’t bother slicking it back. Clint texted him which restaurant to meet them at and at quarter til, Tony grabbed his glasses and headed out.Clint waved him over to where he and Ana had been waiting in front of a seemingly normal burger joint.“You actually came.” Laura seemed impressed, playfully punching his shoulder. She looked at her phone and frowned. “Looks like (Y/n) is going to be late, let’s go ahead and get a seat.” The three entered and Tony was surprised to see old arcade machines lining the back wall.“Interesting venue to try and set up two of your friends.” He whispered to Clint before sliding into the bright vinyl booth across beside him. Clint just shrugged and smiled at his wife.“Welcome to the GrubCade, what can I get you to drink?” A peppy young waitress beamed at them. They ordered and waited for her to return and for the fourth member of their party to show. Tony looked over at the arcade section to see what games they had in case Clint wanted another Street Fighter showdown after he beat him at the Tower. The waitress returned with their drinks but offered them more time to look over their menus until their friend arrived.“Sorry I’m late! We had a last minute emergency come in and I had to wait for Doctor Miller to get there so I could leave.” A (h/c) haired woman slid in beside Laura and kissed her on the cheek. She was out of breath. “Then a fight almost broke out on the subway and I had to stop the racist asshole who started it until the cops got there.” The woman finally looked up and saw who was sitting across from her.“(Y/n), this is Tony-” Clint started but she quickly cut him off.“Oh I know who the hell he is but why is he sitting here?” She glared at the couple. “I thought you guys invited me to get another ass kicking at Rampage not set me up with another one of your friends. Let alone Tony Stark!” She went to get up but Laura grabbed her arm and kept her seated.“You’re already here, (Y/n). It’s not like you to turn down a free dinner and chance to beat someone new at the arcade.” Clint pointed out. (Y/n) grumbled under her breath but settled back down and pointed a finger at him.“I want as many game tokens as I please.” She bargained like a child over eating their vegetables.“Deal.” Laura and Clint said at the same time, like they had been through this before with her.“And I’m telling Nat you did this to the both of us. Go mettle in her life and leave me alone.” (Y/n) waved over the waitress and ordered her drink and everyone ordered food. Not once did she pick up the menu except to hand it to the waitress. Once the young woman was gone to put in their orders, (Y/n) looked to Tony and offered an apologetic smile. “I’m so sorry you were probably coerced into being here. Let’s make the best of it.”“Sounds like a plan.” He grinned back. (Y/n) talked to Ana for a bit, catching up. He took the chance to look her over. She certainly was dressed casually, her hair was in a loose ponytail and her faded t-shirt would have never been allowed in some of the upper scale places he normally attended on these set up dates. He noticed the image printed on the shirt and couldn’t help but raise a brow. She felt him staring at her and crossed her arms.“Already staring, the tabloids might have been right about you, Mr. Stark.”“No, sorry, I was looking at your shirt. How much did a vintage ‘Diary of a Madman’ tour shirt cost online?” She uncrossed her arms and looked down.“Uh, I got it from the merch booth at the show. Well, my dad did. I outgrew mine and he gave me his.” She looked back up, slightly offended he would assume she bought it as a fashion piece. “You’re not off to a great start.” Clint smacked his arm.Tony stayed out of the conversation after that, feeling like an asshole. Laura and (Y/n) chattered happily as they ate and from just listening he learned a lot about her. She worked at a veterinary clinic as a technician, she had a lot of passion about animals and video games, and enjoyed dragging Laura to all kinds of concerts while Clint was off on missions. She seemed a sweet woman, even trying to bring him into the conversation so he felt included. Things seemed back on track until a Bee Gees song came on the jukebox and (Y/n) grew quiet.“Clint, give me some quarters.” She demanded. He didn’t argue, dumping some change into her expectant palm. She excused herself and hurried off. When she was out of ear shot, Tony spoke up.“How do I come back from what I said?” Clint handed him a pouch filled with golden tokens.“Let her kick your ass at Rampage. Talk to her and get to know her.” He smirked. (Y/n) returned and absentmindedly ran a hand through her hair, pulling some loose from her ponytail.“Dad, I finished my dinner, may I have my allowance now?”“Of course.” He gestured to the bag in Tony’s hand. “Now play nice or no dessert.” She rolled her eyes but smiled at her friends.“Just you wait until I hit puberty and start liking boys and borrow the car.” (Y/n) stuck her tongue out before snatching the tokens from Tony. He exchanged one last look with Laura and Clint before following the (h/c) haired woman through the rows of vintage machines. They stopped in front of one in particular and she slid a few coins into the slots. “They tell you to let me win?”“That might have come up.” He grabbed the second joystick. “Will it get me back in good graces?” She snorted at him and pressed start.“Oh you won’t have to pretend to lose.” Her cockiness was kind of adorable. It was cute until she destroyed him back to back. They shouted insults in jest as they smashed the buttons and jerked the joysticks around. “You get to pick next.” She gestured at the other machines after the fourth victory.“How generous of you.” Tony chuckled. He looked over and saw the Barton’s playing some shooting game together, having a blast.“I am a benevolent game lord.” She tipped an invisible hat to him. He wandered around to find their next target. “Tony, I’m not mad about earlier. It was kind of a shitty thing to say but we’d just been thrown together for the first time thanks to our friends.” (Y/n) bumped him playfully.“So was it a good show?” He paid for a few rounds of Galaga and they took turns playing, seeing who had the best score.“Hell of a show, I’m thankful I got to see Randy Rhoads live. Dad held me on his shoulders so I could see over the crowds. That was my first concert and I fell in love with the live show experience.”“But the Bee Gees are a sore spot?” He didn’t look up from his game until she didn’t respond.“Very much so.” She whispered, blinking away whatever memory had surfaced and offered a smile. “You’re going to lose if you don’t pay attention. I might go to the reporters and tell them you aren’t great at everything.” He let his eyes linger a moment more, surprised how quickly she had put herself back together.“Well it wouldn’t be the only weakness of mine they fill the papers with.” Tony stepped aside to let her have her turn.“I’m sorry.” (Y/n) halfheartedly played. “Everyone else is so fortunate to have the privilege of privacy but you’ve been in the news since you were a child.” Tony shrugged it off.“It’s not your fault, no need for you to feel bad.” After her turn ended, he stood in front of her and looked her in the eye. “No more serious talk for the rest of the night.”“And what if I’m serious about talking trash while kickin’ your ass in air hockey?”“Then I’ll make an allowance for that but don’t go crying to Katniss over there when you lose.”Clint and Laura watched with pride at how well the evening had gone. (Y/n) and Tony were laughing as they made their way around to each game. They both seemed at ease despite the evening's rocky start.“I think this time it might work.” Clint wrapped his arm around his wife’s shoulders.“They both have so much to get past but I think it’ll do them some good.” Laura laid her head on his shoulders. “When did we adopt two more kids?”“Well we’ve had (Y/n) since high school and we took Tony in after Bruce gave up custody.”“Why don’t we head home and check in on our real children?” Laura led him over to them the occupied Mrs. Pacman machine.“I’m just saying if you think about it, they could never consummate the marriage.” Tony said loudly over the music.“I’ve never once thought about how Mr. and Mrs. Pacman bang.” (Y/n) grimaced. She noticed their friends and beamed at them.“We’re heading out now, will you two be alright unsupervised?” Laura gave (Y/n) a hug. The vet tech checked the time on her phone and nodded. “Alright. The kids are looking forward to seeing their aunt (Y/n) on Sunday.”“Absolutely. See you guys then.” While the ladies talked, Clint just patted Tony on the back and winked which earned him an eye roll in return. The Barton’s left and Tony offered (Y/n) the last two tokens. “They bailed just in time, I had planned on bleeding their kids college fund dry for duping us both.” She laughed. Tony decided he really liked her laugh.“Three kids, that’s a lot of tokens we could have had.”“It is getting late and I have to be up at five tomorrow morning. Let’s hang onto these tokens, maybe have a rematch another time?” Her cheeks flushed as she spoke but her eyes dared him to say something. “Sounds like a plan. Let me walk you to the subway station?” Tony offered, pocketing one of the coins and dropping the other into her palm.“I’ll allow it.” She nodded, walking out into the warm New York night. They chatted as they walked to the subway entrance, seeming to walk slower and slower as they went. “You know, I had a nice night. Even if I had almost ruined it ten minutes in.” Tony stopped at the stairs, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “It was fun, Tony.” She took a shaky breath and met his gaze. (Y/n)’s eyes held an odd glimmer of sadness and regret but her smile was sincere as she continued. “I don’t go on many dates these days but I really did enjoy your company. I find all this so...exhausting, so to not feel the need to hibernate after tonight is refreshing.” “I understand completely, trust me.” He chuckled. “It’s tough, isn’t it? This task of learning to live again, I don’t know if I can do it.” He saw the tears well up but she blinked them away like they were never there. Tony didn’t know how to soothe whatever turmoil she was feeling and made a mental note to ask Clint and Laura about it when he got home. “Sorry, sorry, ignore that. Thank you for the victories, maybe if you practice you’ll beat me one day.” “I’ll work hard everyday.” (Y/n) checked her phone and cursed under her breath.“I really have to go now before I miss the next train. See you around, maybe?”“Absolutely.” Tony smiled, waving as she ran down the stairs into the subway.

HIDDLES by JonWKhoo
The Loss (Loki x Dragon!Reader) ch 15The inside of the College wasn’t as fascinating as the outside. We came into a smaller room with a high ceiling. There was a door to my right and a door to my left. When I looked straight forward, there was also a room. I walked towards the doorway into it and looked inside. Hmm, I might be wrong about this place not being as impressive inside as it was outside. The room was round, just like the tower, and it was big enough to hold a dovah. Several actually. What was most ferviit (curious) and what I couldn’t take my eyes off was the circle in the center of the room. There was magic illuminating from it and it stretched itself up into the air. Vahnuk (fascinating).I heard Loki sigh and walk over to me.“Frolok! (Look!)” I said looking up at him with a huge smile as he stopped by my side. He snickered slightly and shook his head.“Yes, a magical fountain. Very impressing.” He said with a dull tone to his voice. I didn’t care. I found it full of tovok (wonder) and brit (beautiful). Before Loki could command me to come with him, I noticed something even more vahnuk (fascinating).“Kaaz! (Khajiit/Cat!)” I exclaimed making all sorts of happy noises only a joor could make. A male Kaaz (Khajiit/cat) was standing by a pillar throwing fireballs at a target. I quickly ran over to him. I had seen them on my travels and they were masters at combat and of magic. I had always wanted to touch one. Not just them though, any animal that had fur. I touched his hand and made sounds similar to laughter.“Damn it.” I heard Loki say as I touched the Kaaz (Khajiit/cat). The Kaaz (Khajiit/cat) pulled his hand to him and looked at me.“What is the meaning of this!?” He sneered at me which made me smile even more.“Iisk! (Fangs!)” I said happily wanting to touch them, but as I reached out my hand, Loki grabbed it and pulled me beside him.“I am terribly sorry for this. Please forgive her.” He said rather quickly to the Kaaz (Khajiit/cat). “She didn’t mean to offend you in any way.” He continued as the Kaaz (Khajiit/cat) narrowed his eyes. I kept smiling at him.“Let me guess, she has never seen a Khajiit before?” He said obviously calming down.“No, she has not, so please forgive her for her insolence.” Loki continued. I wasn’t sure what I had done that could offend the Kaaz (Khajiit/cat). Perhaps it was the interruption of his training?Loki and the Kaaz (Khajiit/cat) kept taking while I looked around the room. There were targets like the one the Kaaz (Khajiit/cat) was using all along the walls. The targets weren’t just normal targets. They were magical lights. I conjured a small fireball in my hand as I broke away from Loki and threw it at one of the targets. It didn’t do much to it, so the target was a strong one.“Ah, J’zargo sees another student of destruction.” The Kaaz (Khajiit/cat) named J’zargo said with a smile. Loki cleared his throat.“Not a student, but a master.” He answered him. J’zargo smiled wider showing his iisk (fangs) which made me smile.“How about a friendly competition with J’zargo, hmm? Who can turn off the light at the target fastest?” He asked me. I nodded. I knew I had no problem with this at all. Yol (fire) was something most of the dovah handled quite well and I handled it excellent.J’zargo started conjuring fire with both his hands. I simply needed one hand to conjure a fireball. I threw it and used my thu’um (shout) to pass it around. It hit all the targets, putting out every magical light and stopped by my hand where it disappeared. J’zargo looked at me with wide eyes as his fire died down. I smiled and walked towards the entrance. I was no longer that interested.“Excuse us.” I heard Loki say and came over to me rather fast. When we entered the entrance, he grabbed my arm and turned me towards him.“It is not proper to touch anyone like you did.” He said and I tilted my head to the side a little confused as to why. “You will not do this again, (Y/N).” He said and opened the door to our right. Another command though I wasn’t really paying attention to it. I was a dovah. None could command a dovah, except a rider and Loki was definitely not my rider. We walked up a narrow staircase. I wasn’t sure how high up we were. In addition to being narrow, the staircase had no windows making it difficult to know where we really were. When we came to the top of the stairs, we were looking at another rounded room and this room was filled with books.“Ah, there you are.” I heard Myrddin say.“I apologize for taking so long, but traveling with her is not as easy as I remember it to be.” Loki said and I quickly looked up at him. He smiled at me. “You are too curious and too slow.” He said to me. What did he expect? For the first time in my life I was a joor. Everything was new to me and all of the dovah are curious by nature. Why hurry when you have an eternity of time?“Zu’u los dovah (I am a dragon).” I answered him, knowing that would make him understand why I was slow and curious.“I know. Believe me, I know.” He sighed seeming a little annoyed. “Here is the text, Myrddin. Do you think you can read this and find an Elder Scroll through it?” Loki asked. I was curious about that as well. Myrddin took the text from Loki and walked over to a table.“I should be able to read this.” He said and rolled it open. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at it. “I might be a little rusty reading the language of the Akaviri.” Myrddin started to read it though far from perfect. He had to use some time to understand what was actually written. I looked over at Loki and was a little taken aback by the look he had. I could clearly see from his expression how interesting he found this. His gaze was unfocused, yet he seemed to follow Myrddin’s words and his finger as he held it along the black lines of the text. Right now, he was as curious as a dovah. I couldn’t help but to smile softly as I looked at him. It was a nice sight and it made me feel strange inside.Myrddin breathed out and I blinked to get out of the daze I was in.“This was harder than I thought it would be.” He said and sighed. Loki frowned as he looked at Myrddin.“Can you decipher anything at all? Any clue, perhaps a city or a landmark?” Loki asked him. Myrddin looked at the text again.“Well, it speaks of the Dwemer, but they were almost everywhere. It would be futile to start searching every Dwemer ruin.” Loki started to move a little, walking back and forth.“Anything else?” Loki asked Myrddin. He shook his head.“I… I just don’t understand some of these letters.” He sighed and sat down on a long wooden contraption.“I’ll ask the librarian for help.” Loki said and walked along all the books. I felt my brow move as he walked away from me. I touched it to feel how my brow had moved and they had moved into a frown.“It will be alright, (Y/N), he will come back.” I heard Myrddin say. I didn’t say anything. I simply sat down beside Myrddin, waiting for Loki to get back.“No, he didn’t know a thing about the language of the Akaviri.” Loki said as he approached us. “We just have to try reading it again, Myrddin.”“Reading what?” I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up and saw Thor coming towards us.“Brother!” Loki exclaimed sounding pleased with the sight. “What are you doing here? I thought you wanted to stay in Whiterun for a while.” Thor smiled and grabbed his brother’s shoulder.“Couldn’t let my little brother have quite the adventure on his own.” Both of them laughed and smiled.“I don’t know how much adventure we will have. We are stuck with the text (Y/N) and I retrieved.” Loki said and looked over at the text. Thor walked over to it and looked at it.“Hmph, well, I can’t read this. Only thing I see is that there something about a Dwemer ruin of old and something about a secret entrance in the mountains.” He hummed. “And something about a sphere.” Loki widened his eyes. So did Myrddin.“You can read it?” Myrddin said surprised.“Well, not all of it because…” Thor said, but stopped and grinned looking at the two. “You don’t know, do you?” He asked them. Loki looked at him.“Know what?” He asked his brother. Thor chuckled while grinning widely.“The two scholars don’t know, but I do.” Loki growled a little.“Know what, brother?” He asked him again, but this time his tone was different. He was clearly annoyed.“Some of these letters are Falmer.” He said, but was interrupted by Myrddin. He hit his hand on the text and the table getting up from his seat.“Of course! Why didn’t I see that? Read it with me.” He said and they did. Again my eyes went to Loki who was still very interested in what they were saying. His eyes went from Myrddin to the text and back up at Myrddin. It seemed like he was trying to learn what they knew about these languages. I understood how he could have learned dovahzul (dragon language). If it was true what he had said that he learned it from me, he must have been looking at me the same way he was looking at them.“We need a nights rest before heading there.” I suddenly heard Loki say.“I agree.” Myrddin said nodding. “We will head to the tavern just down the road and stay there until the morning. Then we travel towards the Great Lift of Alftand and Blackreach.”
The Loss (Loki x Dragon!Reader) ch 14The air froze the closer we got to Winterhold. It was in the far north of the country and was often covered in snow. The city itself was located on a Cliffside with a fantastic view of the ocean called the Sea of Ghosts.“Dragon!” Loki called out to me.“Geh. (Yes.)” I answered him.“It is a bad idea to fly over the city. The guards will not see the difference between you and any other dragon. They will think you are attacking them.” He said. I knew he was right, but then again it was still dark. I doubted they would see anything at all. They might hear me, but they wouldn’t see me.I soared towards the coast instead of directly at Winterhold taking Loki’s advice.“Good.” Loki said and it sounded like he was petting me. I felt nothing of course, but I heard the touch of my scales. I soared down and landed not far from the road. Loki jumped off me once I had landed. He looked at me.“Well?” He muttered. I looked at him, curious to what he meant. “Focus and change your form.”I tried to think of the form of a joor. I concentrated hard even closing my eyes, but it didn’t work. I growled loudly. Loki sighed.“Clear your mind and look at your talons.” I breathed out hard from my nose and Loki turned his head slightly as it hit him. “Yes, I know, but try.” He said and crossed his arms. I groaned in annoyance.“Brahnu. (Useless.)” I growled and hit my tail hard into the snow.“Stubborn, old dovah.” Loki sighed. “Just try it.”I scoffed and looked down on my foot and my talons trying to clear my mind. I looked at it and at my talons. They were like any talons, long and rough. They were perfect for ripping apart prey, to fight or grab a hold of the strunmah (mountain) to sit. There was so much power in just this one foot. The joorre had none in theirs. No power at all. Their feet were only for walking and running. I sighed as I looked at my talons. The joorre used their feet for one more thing which brought them joy and happiness. They used them to dance. I frowned at the thought. I would never know what that was like.My talons began shrinking though I didn’t notice it. So (melancholy) was an easy trap for a dovah. I sighed again, but this time the sound of it was different from the last sigh I had. I looked at my talons which were no longer there. I looked over at my wings which had disappeared as well leaving me with hands and arms instead. I turned towards Loki.“I am a joor.” I whispered softly. He nodded stepping closer to me while removing his coat.“Yes, you are a joor. A beautiful, barely dressed joor.” He wrapped his coat around my shoulders. I felt the chill in the air and felt how the coat helped, but he would freeze without his coat. I stared at him curiously. He smiled softly looking down on me.“I can take the cold. Trust me.” He turned and began walking up towards the road and the city. I followed wondering what he meant by that. He had shown himself to be quite the wizard, so he might be right.Loki stopped at the entrance to the city though it didn’t look much like a city to me. There was only one street leading to a large stone building. I raised my brow as I looked at it. A very high building. The rest of the so called city was not as high. There were a few wooden houses along the street and I doubted there were more. Something had happened here. No joor would live like this willingly.Loki took a hold of my wrist and pulled me with him down the street. Apparently, I was walking too slowly for him. I looked around as we walked though.“The city used to be much bigger, striking even, but then the Red Mountain erupted causing the Great Collapse, or so they say. The whole city was swallowed by the sea. This is all that remains.” He said and chuckled softly.“Well, this and the college.” He stopped by a set of stairs leading to a bridge that would take us to the college. I tilted my head and looked at the college fascinated and curious as to how it had survived when the city didn’t. Loki snickered as he walked up the stairs.“Come now, my dear. They are waiting for us.” I followed him.As we came to a rather steep portion of the bridge, I could see there wasn’t much holding this stone bridge together. I looked down. It was a long way down into shallow water far below. There were remains far beneath us from the city, but it was hard to see in detail. The joor eyes didn’t compare to a dovahs, but they did tell me it was impossible to survive a fall. I smiled to myself watching Loki walk over the feeble bridge. He didn’t seem frightened and I was definitely not frightened by heights.I followed him over the bridge while having my eyes at the building. It was incredibly high and a dovah like me knew heights.“(Y/N), come now.” Loki said as he had reached the gates leading into the college grounds. “You are so slow, my dear.” He chuckled.I stopped by his side. I didn’t understand why everything had to happen so fast. We had all the time in the world though it seemed like he didn’t. He opened the gate for me and I entered the college grounds. There was a round courtyard on the grounds. The actual college was right in front of me and it was the tallest building, the one I had seen when I flew towards Winterhold and the one I had stared at while walking through the city. There were two more towers on each side of Loki and me. Those towers weren’t as tall as the college. There was a statue of a joor in the middle of the courtyard and I walked over to it. Loki followed me with a slight chuckle. He could clearly see how interested I was in it. It was magnificent. The statue of the joor had its arms apart and the hands were also open with all fingers apart like it was conjuring magic. It was so well carved that I could see the details in the statues clothing. The cloths carved out of the stone seemed to flow in the wind.“That is Shalidor, the first Arch-Mage of the College.” Loki said and placed his hand on my back. “You can see him later.” He said and started walking towards the tallest building, the College, while gently pushing me with him. “Myrddin is waiting for us, for that text he needs.”I understood why he was pushing me, but if I had my true form, he wouldn’t be able to push me anywhere. It was rather annoying, but I let him believe he was in charge. One thing was certain, I was going to go back to look at all the things I had been rushed away from once Myrddin was finished with the text. I smiled to myself. I was also going to go back to Whiterun and the mongrohiik (werewolf) with the hes (sweet) drink.

Just imagine waking up one morning and finding Loki with you, you can either kiss him or kill him. I would like to place my life savings on a bet that this is 100% 😘.

Is this only for avengers stories, do you allow other marvel branch stories? And if so where would you find the group for X-men stories?

Imagine Loki kidnapping you to use you as bait for the Avengers but he ends up falling for you.
"My intention was to merely use you as bait to get to my brother and his team but now.... I'm not going to give you up without a fight"

Please, someone, write this!
